They had a bad day. There is a reason it is hard to win every game and it isn't entirely because of the other team being the better one. NDSU is good at their level because they are geared toward that level. They've never said anything else. Just the same as Alabama being good at their level because they are geared toward their level. They aren't a joke because they would be bounced off of the field against Tampa Bay. People need to quit pitting others against each other just to push their own need for an argue. Most FCS teams would love to have the NDSU culture. Winning teams year after year regardless of changing players or coaches. There is something good going on there and it not just that they come in with the best recruits. The culture advances potential. For those of you that haven't, watch the past ten championships. Great games and real playoffs, not a popularity pairing like the bowl system. Every team with any chance has a chance to be there. The FBS level seems to have less of a corporate smell to it. Just kids playing a game while they are growing up and learning to be something bigger.

Dear NDSU - time to move to FBS. It’s ok to go AT THE WORST 10-2 each regular season. You have enough of a religious following and resources to go FBS. You are lying to yourselves if you don’t believe that. That school up north in little Grand Forks isn’t afraid to play the big boys in hockey, and they’re doing just fine for themselves. So you can afford to play the mid major boys in the Group of Five. ....or join the Big 12 and still go 10-2 or 9-3 each reg season. You know it.

@david boniface bottom line is it is a free year. That's it. Ndsu is young and cam miller need to start the second half if ndsu isn't up 21 points against mo. State next weekend. Also, TE, and crossing routes are not used which is interesting. Rohl needs to be more adventures with play calling and drop the "run it up the middle" BS. The coaches and past coaches have a serious fetish for running it up the middle. Hard to run it up the middle when the QB doesn't run and the box is stacked

@david boniface if we are getting technical this season doesnt count. Sure a champion will be claimed, but 0 eligibility is used for any player. This is great for ndsu with a young team to get experience. With two legit QB's coming in the fall, this team could be nasty, just needs some time.

You know they have a 4 star Virginia tech transfer who can play in the fall and one of the top duel threat QB recruits in the midwest will be here in the fall too. The spring could be a grind, but they will have options In the fall. Also like 5-6 seniors on the team so the next 4 years could be solid again
